The Deadlywind Fibur carbon fiber barrels are ultra-lightweight, accurate, and quiet. They are compatible with the Freak(tm) replaceable inserts, so one barrel and a few inserts will do the job of multiple barrels.

Weighing in at an average 46grams (59 grams with insert), the Fibur is 2x to 4x lighter than other replaceable insert barrels.

Unlike other carbon fiber barrels, the Fibur barrel is built with a unique 3 layer construction. 2x2 satin Twill external, uni-direction fibers laid up in a strong multi-vector pattern, and then a super slick "Silkfiber" inside that can be safely swabbed. CNC align-bored segment for the insert area, CNC-ported with 3 rows of straight ports, and then hand-assembled and quality checked-- You can't get any more accurate.

Already have inserts? Just buy the barrel by itself. Need an insert to go with it? Buy one or go with the 3x inserts and save!

this is the lightest barrel i have ever picked up.makes what ever you shoot wisper quiet.i got the standered smartparts threads for my epiphany which are kind of loud because of the higher opperating pressure.this barrel took the pop out of the shots.plus you can use the freak inserts,how cool is that.i didn't think any other barrel was ever going to hold a candle to the freak but i've found the answer and it's called the fibur.great job guys keep the great products coming.

the deadlywind fibur barrel is the lightest, best looking, quietest and most acurate barrel i have ever shot. the best thing about this barrel is that it takes freak inserts, even if you have really bad paint the fibur barrel will somehow make it shoot straight and consistantly. the only bad thing about it is that its so light you feel like your going to break it whenever you put it on or take it off of your gun!

I just logged on to this site after reading about this in PBX magazine and i am in the process of ordering it. As far as looks are concerned i give it a 10. The fact that i can pull my Freak inserts out of the closet thrill the s**t out of me! I've been using Carbon Fiber barrels since they were invented and as of late am using a versatile two piece set by another company. By looking on this new product i think we have a winner. I like the porting. Would like to see a variety of coulours when this picks up eventualy.

barrel is awesome, it is light and makes paintball shot quiet. The only weakness, is the porting. It goes around. Paintballs are not bullets solid. They have liquids inside, porting that goes around the barrel will try to spin the paintball, this then will put the liquid on side of the paint, and paint will go sideways. I would rank it excellent if porting were straight and does not go around. Hopelfully in near future they would find a way of making it the right. I mean they have the best engineers and it seems this was overlook.

IMHO, this is the best barrel on the market. My son and I are using the Fibur with our Shockers. I have used both the Stiffi, and the Freak system. The Fibur is as light as the Stiffi, and as accurate as the Freak. As an added bonus, when you have a barrel break, this barrel will clear itself after one-two shots. I think it is because of the Teflon coating, because neither the Stiffi nor the Freak would/could clear themselves that quickly, and shoot as accurately after a barrel break. It is a big plus being able to use Freak inserts. No switching fronts like with some barrel systems, plus this system is overall cheaper than any other "adjustable" barrel kit. Cleaning is very easy. I rarely find paint in the barrel. I like to use a pull through, but a battle swab works equally as well. My only criticism is that my son and I both have found that this barrel is louder than our Freaks. I know that is contray to other reviews, but for us this is not an issue because we both play speed ball.

This thing is so light I honestly thought the box was empty when it showed up (great they shipped me a box with some stickers!). Quieter than my Freak, nice tight patterns, styling goes well with my EOS. I was worried about being back heavy after I felt the weight, but it still feel balanced. If anything, switching back to the Freak I feel front heavy now. Inserts fit nice and snug with no gap whatsoever (a little sleek on the outside of the insert makes for an easy in/out). Great product, now make me some options for me EOS!

I have used a large number of high end barrels. This one improved on all of them in almost every single way. Quiet - not the quietest but considerably less noise than a Freak All american Light - Close to the lightest I have ever used and by far the lightest w/adjustable bore Bore Size - Freak sleeves are superior to any sized backs on the market Design - Two piece barrels run the risk of breaking balls at their joint, single barrel systems cut down on barrel breaks Durability - I can only guess from what I have seen that this is one strong barrel. I did not test it for strength. Self Cleaning - It was only OK at this. I have seen better. The best part was that I had to use my straight shot to break a ball because after maybe 6 cases, I have not had a ball break in the barrel yet. Accuracy - Forget about everything above, this is what matters most. You can pound nails with this at 100 feet. I am not kidding. Dead on accurate. Add 30 feet to the distance your ball will travel as well. Misc. - I love the look and others have commented as well. I love being able to use swabs on it. Threading seats it tight. The guy complaining about porting is crazy. Even the name is cool. Price is great especially since it takes the Freak inserts (which it holds super secure). I hope you don't buy this barrel. I love having the upper hand. Best upgrade I have ever made for any gun hands down.

this barrel is extremly accurate and it takes the freak inserts so u can match it with any paint i bought one and used it and told my dad about it and he bought 1 and after using it he bought 2 more for my mom and sister. try one and u will never use a different barrel

Being always curious to test new material, I found interesting the system of Dealywind barrel. As I had already the case freak, the investment was not so any more important. And well I can say to you that this investment was worth of it really the sorrow!!! This barrel is all that the paintballer wants. Incredible precision, auto-cleaning, silencer. I played Sunday and I broke a paintball (Hellfire!!), even not necessary of passing a swab. That continues to draw right. After having to test much barrel (Ultralite, Sly, Freak, Stiffy, Lucky, Shaft SL), I can say that it is the best barrel than I tested. I advise it with all those which want the best. I even have just ordered the 16 '. Sorry, my English is not the best. But I hope that you understood me.

This barrel is everything it says it is, it is without a doubt the best barrel I have ever shot. I bought 2, one for my MINI at 14" and one for my Epiphany at 16" both shoot amazingly. This barrel is extremely accurate, very light and uses the full size freak inserts which are cheaply priced. Best investment for both guns I have made thus far. The Fibur I owned was made with amazing attention to quality. I've had other carbon fiber barrels, but of course none that took inserts, and the Fibur is the best that I've owned. Add to the great quality the ability to take inserts to size the bore to your paint and you get amazing accuracy as well. Straight down the field every time.

when i first saw the barrel i thought this thing is sweet but i really didnt know untill i put it on my gun.now the ego is already a very light gun but with the deadly windz and a cp tank this thing is crazy. my friend had the barrel b4 i did and he let me barrow it cuz i was considering buy 1 my self. for all of those people who have egos will under stand how loud they r but with this barrel it turned the volume of the marker down a considerable amount, and as many say that the barrel doesnt clean its self like the company says it does well mabye mine was just magic but it didnt break paint so i had to shoot some with the bag on, i shot once and the ball went all wierd but the second was right on target. and i dont think i can stress how light this thing is. as i ran to the snake i worried about breaking it but when i dove i did a little barrel cram into the grond and got a good 4 inches in the barrel and had to squeege it but after that i broke 2 in a row but again it cleaned in1. and bin able to stick freak inserts in was great, that means no more using stock barrel. and i was able to sell my 2 backs that gave me 80 bucks. but over all this thing is a great thing to have. so if i could give it a 6 i would.

This barrel is Great! Lightest barrel I've ever used! Absolutely brilliant move making it Freak insert adaptable! I already owned a full Freak kit and I was looking into the carbon fiber barrel market so it worked out perfect. I have an Angel A1 Fibur barrel already and I just purchased a MacDev Cyborg. I read that their accuracy is great with the stock barrel but I am getting another Fibur Barrel for it regardless! Thanks for making a great product!

i loved this barrell it was very quiet i never once noticed a break so even if it did have a break it self cleaned it it shot very straight and was very accurate not to mention that deadly winds customer service (colin) was very respectfull and helped assure me that i would have my barrell when i needed it i got it the next day after he shipped it

I build custom markers for people around the world, and I have used just about everything on the market at least once when it comes to barrels. When building a customer's marker, I have multiple options for lots of things to consider before the build up. When asked what barrel I recommend, this is the first one I suggest. Take a look at this video of a P90 I built for a customer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhXT2qV4Ot4 Believe it or not, thats a 14" fibur under that shell, and if the accuracy of this barrel is in question, it won't be when you are done watching that vid. That baseball is 50+ feet away. Awesome barrel DW, and I will continue recommending your products because of undeniable performance like this!

I have a spyder electra 08 and its very new and i cant find anything for it cause its so new and i bought the new freak barrel system for it 16" but this is the barrel i wanted originally i dont want to put an adaptor on it to make it from an autococker to a spyder so i was wondering if anytime soon you were going to make it into any other type of barel thread because i know alot of people with spyder's and i know me for one would definately buy this barrel
