The NEW DTI3 Tactical Ion body shell w/BOB™ (Bolt Out Back) is the ultimate option for your Ion for milsim and tactical bodies. Almost a foot long and with 4 true integrated Picatinny rails to mount to (and one ~3/8" doveatil along the backbone), you are sure to have plenty of room to mount that laser, flashlight, nightscope, bipod-- or whatever your heart desires-- without having to swap devices out. The DTI3 body shell is directly threaded for your feedneck to attach to, and it includes a mount for attaching a Tippmann M98 style shoulder stock in the back. I would just like to point out that when i got this body in the mail i had a really big smile on my face due to the fact that it came with a clamping feedneck I am not sure if this was a mistake or if it was meant to come with it but it really added to me happiness This is definitely the best looking of all the tactical bodies for the ion and is definitely the most functional due to the bolt out back design and the many rails. I also loved the stock adapter because it made finding a stock for the ion a lot easier. The rails are at such a perfect angle that when i put my red dot on the rear side rail (60* angle i believe) i was able to 0 it in just by aligning the dot with the barrel (when the ion is tilted as most speedball guns usually are) the only bad thing about this body is the weight. I picked up the stock body and this body right away to test this and it doesnt seem like a lot, but wen you add a full hopper of paint and a stock to it, it adds up. The gun is a lot heavier than a stock ion now and it really adds to the weight on the gun. However, luckily i enjoy the weight factor because it adds to the realism of woodsball. Last note is that I am loving the bolt out back design and it is really useful however, if you have a scorpion ion frame the rear most bolt must be customized in order to fit by the snatch grip, but the bolt out back definitely does make a difference

I really like this body, the BOB function is really nice... no more messing with the internal hosing and QEV removal everytime you need to lube the bolt. Pros: Great finish Durable Strong Nice rails and lots of options BOB body Weaknesses: Its not a true BOB and its more difficult that other BOB designs. It requires you remove 2 screws and then its a little hard to get the rear cap out.... the powerlyte 07 body is way easier to work. Also the sight rail (picanty i think) behind the feedneck are not standard size but rather .5mm to small and normal sight mounts wiggle on the rail.... this is a nice body and i really like it... it would be nice if the BOB design was perfected and easer to operate, but it sure beats the crap out of the normal body.... also it is metal where as the competitors is made of a composite material (specops)

The DTI-3 body is a great a solution for woodsball players. Most woodsball players would agree that one of the most important additions to a scenario marker is the addition of a buttstock. It adds stability to be able to fire the marker from the shoulder and therefore improves accuracy. The body is easy to install, once you download the installation instructions, and took me about a half hour. The holes for the screws are precision measured and drilled making everything line up perfectly during the installation. The body does add some weight to the marker. However, being a woodsball player exclusively, the weight of the marker, doesn't affect my gameplay, considering my tacvest weighs about 15 pounds. The material is very robust as is the parkerizing of the body itself. I've used it outside several times already and the black doesn't scratch off easily. Delivery took about 6 weeks as I live in Canada. I didn't mind the wait considering it is a superb upgrade to my marker. Also, included in the delivery cylinder was a barrel condom and some stickers with the Deadlywind logo marked on them. Much appreciated accessory from the guys at Deadlywind.

This is a true masterpiece right here. Comes with everything you need to get started. It was a little tricky at first to put it together. But after a little while I was able to put it together. The PROS are good functioning rails for the scopes comes with a new QEV for the back piece, Extendes your guns look, and not to heavy. The CONS are the drilling was a little bit off. I had to widen the hole for the back piece to screw back on. After that their is no other con maybe a little step on the expensive but for the quality it is worth it. All together i would have to say that this is the best tactical body kit for the ION. I havent put a stock on yet but it isalready ordered and should be excellent.
